Winterizing your ship
During winter, it is important to winterize your boat’s engine and make it frost-proof if desired. By performing this operation the engine is well protected and prepared for the new sailing season during a harsh winter.
Jachtcenter Elburg can winterize your yacht with all systems on board. In this way we would like to support you to minimize the consequences of rain, hail, snow, frost or algae attack on your yacht.
We recommend, among other things, completely filling up the fuel tank before winter storage. This way there will be little to no condensation. We also ask you to empty other tanks and keep liquids to a minimum. However, these are just a few points you need to think about for proper winter preparation.
